Questo è così purtroppo vero. Io sono americano nato e io sono assolutamente vergognarsi di ciò che è stato fatto dal mio governo. Mi piace questo pezzo d'arte, perché dimostra la verità.

I spent some time considering favving this work, or at least writing something intelligent as a reaction. Then I realized I don't really have an opinion. I mean... I'd like to criticize wars, too. But every one of them is fought in the name of something "nice", valuable. I still haven't been able to decide which of them are lies and which of them are necessary, if any.
But I will admit without any doubt that this is impressive and apposite piece of art.

We can't change the fact that the world is cruel - but we can make it less cruel ;-)

And war itself isn't good for anybody caught in it, including soldiers. It's the results I'm unsure of.
